Outfit Post 3 - Prepped

Preppy is always in right? I always gravitate towards it when
wanting to seem understated, but still pulled together.
Basically pop a crisp white shirt under a pretty jumper,
add a fun skirt or eccentric trousers and your Good to Go,
Hot to Trot, Ready to Rock.... etc (you get the idea!)
Loving this matte sequinned jumper from Forever 21,
the skirt was $5 in the amazing Urban Outfitters sale
I was at the other week.... YEP $5!!! hoorah for bargains.
The shirt is from H&M and shoes Urban Outfitters

p.s. Probably still too cold for the bare legged look in NY,
but in a complete fit of madness,
read: ''last minute packer syndrome.... ''
I only brought one pair of tights with me to NYC, so there you go!

Outfit Post 2 - Brooklyn Vintage

So you find the most-perfect, beyond-gorgeous  dress, casually
glance at the price tag.... and woahh overpriced much!

Pretty much an accurate representation of what occurs at every
store I visit -  probably because I'm such a cheap freak.
Until my brilliant new flatmates took me shopping to Brooklyn one day
and showed me the absolute treasure chest of pretty sparkly things,
that is, Beacons Closet.
I purchased this beautiful vintage dress for a mere $25,
bargain and a half!

I styled it with my cream faux fur coat from Miss Selfridge,
gem encrusted bag also Miss Selfridge
and my favourite shoes at the moment
slash only heels I own by Urban Outfitters.

Smoke and Pastels

Definitely no Rhyme or reason for how addicted I am to pastel tones at the moment...
I wanna chalk my hair - my little pony style - wear the whole of Topshop's and Miss Selfridge's S/S 2012 collection, that I had the previewed while interning there in December, and hit the streets eating strawberries and dancing a merry jig...
oh shizzle it's still frickin' freezing and February in NYC :(

Outfit post 1 - Colourful endings

Ok here is my first outfit post  - sorry about the quality my mum decided I didn't need an SLR for my birthday - The quality is what it is. I bought this top from a vintage store at the weekend, LOVE LOVE LOVE! The jeans I got free from work, woohoo perk of being a fashion intern! - shit their too short - I've gone for the cropped jean look :)
The shoes are my absolute favourite thing at the moment and pretty much THE only heels I have. Just the right amount of lesbian/butch/goth style, rolled into one to create these beauts of a shoe. Urban Outfitters I salute you!!

Wildfox Love

...when it looks this effortless whats not to love??
childhood dreams of pink hair and rainbows... personified!
unfortunately I am also too much of a worrywort to ruin my hair with bleach...one day, before I am too old to pull it off, just one day!
